Cancer Insurance

Cancer Insurance is a type of health insurance policy that pays ONLY in the event that the insured gets cancer. These policies are usually sold by insurance salespeople who use the pitch, "You can always use extra coverage if you get cancer." Our consultants strongly feel this type of insurance should be avoided. Usually the coverage is horribly inadequate, even if you get cancer. You may want to read about the dangers of using this type of insurance when trying to come up with a balanced health insurance plan.
